Riders test solar/pedal-powered trike

Riders tested out Organic Transit's ELF solar/pedal trike in a 

parking lot at McMenamin's Edgefield in Troutdale. The 

covered vehicle blends a combination of electric power and 

human power to propel it. Organic Transit founder and CEO 

Rob Cotter said his company is exploring setting up facilities 

to make the ELF in the Portland area.
